This week, three RINO Republican Senators voted NO on repealing a methane regulation that was enacted by Barack Obama.
Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Susan Collins (R-ME) all crossed party lines and joined up with 48 Democrats voting against the frivolous regulation to be repealed. President Trump announced that, as a result of the repeal not going through, the Department of the Interior is now going to be reviewing the rule and is expected to “suspend, revise or rescind the rule” due to its “significant regulatory burden [on] American energy production, economic growth and job creation.”
Those that wanted the bill to be repealed were deeply disappointed as well and are hopeful that the Interior Department can rectify and revise the regulation in the coming weeks.
“It was over-regulation by the Obama administration, and we tried to remove it with the Congressional Review Act. That fell one vote short today, and as a result we’ll call on the secretary to withdraw it.” -Senator John Barrasso (R-WY)
